Visual Lease was founded by the principals of KBA Lease Services in 1995. For over 30 years, KBA has been recognized as the signature firm in lease analysis and auditing.

KBA consists of an experienced team of accountants, engineers, architects, attorneys and property managers. It has helped control the real estate costs of hundreds of companies nationwide in virtually every industry.

In addition to relying on its own experience, KBA tapped the knowledge of numerous corporate real estate directors and lease administrators from top companies such as Xerox, Equitable Life, UBS Paine Webber, Prudential Insurance, Barnes & Noble, Toys ‘R’ Us and others. In addition, we continuously update the product so that it stays at the cutting edge of lease management. Marc Betesh

Chairman / CEO

Founder of Visual Lease since its inception in 1995, Marc Betesh is one of the country’s leading experts on lease construction, lease expenses and effective lease negotiation strategies.

In addition to running Visual Lease, Mr. Betesh also the President of KBA Lease Services, the signature firm in lease auditing. Prior to establishing Visual Lease and KBA Lease Services, Mr. Betesh practiced law in New York City where he negotiated commercial leases.

He received his BA from Temple University and his JD from Georgetown University and is a member of the New York and New Jersey bars.

Marc has consistently been ranked among the “top-rated faculty” at CoreNet Global Learning and is a frequent lecturer on lease topics at New York University’s Real Estate Institute, AECRE (Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate), American Bar Association, Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Practicing Law Institute, ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers), and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

DEREK ANDERSON, MCR
Chief Operating Officer

Derek leads all aspects of VisualLease operations including sales, marketing, customers service and technology.  He has spent over 20 years leading lease administration and IWMS software companies, and was one of the early pioneers of web-based real estate management software.

He has been both founder and CEO of firms in the USA and in Israel.  His experience has included being the Co-Founder of VirtualPremise (now CoStar Real Estate Manager), CEO of WorkplaceIQ and serving as the VP of Marketing and Product Management at Redwood Systems, and CEO of Avolved.

Derek has a B.A. in Real Estate from Georgia State University, a M.S. in Strategic Management from Indiana University and a M.S. in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Phil Peters
Phil Peters
Vice President of Product Management

As the Vice President of Product Management, Phil Peters has primary responsibility for managing all aspects of the Visual Lease platform and roadmap.  He has over 21 years of IT experience, mostly focused on web-based software solutions, with a strong cross-section of industries and company sizes. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University School of Engineering.

Phil’s experience includes large multi-national Fortune 500 companies such as Metropolitan Life and JPMorganChase, consulting firms such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Data Systems Analysts, a US Army defense contractor, and smaller companies such as the USGA and Visual Lease.

Paul Wolf
Paul Wolf
Vice President of Sales

Paul Wolf is responsible for Visual Lease’s sales and marketing efforts and for the company’s strategic alliances across the real estate industry. He started his career as a Strategic Sales Manager for Grolier Inc.’s educational division. Over the next 16 years he managed multiple verticals within the corporation and finally concluded his career at Grolier as Senior Sales VP in their educational technology division.

Paul is considered to be an accomplished technology and facilities leader with a focus on SaaS software products within Real Estate, Retail, Restaurant and Public sectors.

Prior to joining Visual Lease, Paul worked at PublicStuff, Workspeed/MRI and ServiceChannel where he served as their National Director of Sales. His responsibility was to acquire and help manage new accounts as well as grow and mentor new sales and account management teams.

Paul received his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona and is a happily married man with 4 children.

Isaac Heller
Vice President of Alliances

As Vice President of Alliances at Visual Lease, Isaac Heller is responsible for Visual Lease corporate development, marketing and strategic partnerships, which include global accounting and real estate firms.

Prior to his roles at Visual Lease, Isaac held corporate strategy & product management roles throughout a successful IPO at Sabre (NASDAQ: SBRE), an aviation technology leader. He started his career building international partnerships for Anthony Travel, a leader in sports travel management, now operated by the NFL.

Isaac is a proud Texan and holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Alexandra Betesh
Alexandra Betesh
Vice President of Client Services

As Vice President of Client Services at Visual Lease, Alexandra Betesh manages the Account Management, Data Management Services and Consulting Services groups at Visual Lease.  She is responsible for the full client experience through the entire lifecycle, from the moment they engage with Visual Lease, through implementation and training, and through abstracting and other services.  She works closely with the Product, Engineering, Alliances and Sales teams to ensure clients’ voices are heard throughout the organization. Alexandra also plays a leadership role in both Visual Lease’s and KBA’s operations, with a special focus on process management and improvement.

Prior to her roles at Visual Lease and KBA, Alexandra was an analyst with Bloomberg LP specializing in financial derivatives and mortgages.

Alexandra has a B.A. in Finance and Management from the Stern School of Business, with a minor in Producing, at New York University.

Anthony Delonardo
Vice President of Sales Operations

As Vice President of Sales Operations at Visual Lease, Anthony’s primary responsibilities include, building a sales team, planning, reporting, quota setting and management of that team, sales process optimization, sales training, sales program implementation and sales compensation design and administration

Anthony is an accomplished and driven sales leader and has consistently delivered top line results in the SaaS industry by developing strong team cultures and sales processes. He has over 10 years of experience working as a Staffing Manager, Division Director, Client Relationship Director, Account Executive and Regional VP of Sales-Major Accounts. He has worked for major corporations, some of which include, Robert Half International, Pitney Bowes Incorporated, STEALTHbits, and iCIMS.

Anthony studied Marketing/Business Management at Monmouth University, West Long Branch, NJ.

Babar Farooqi
Vice President of Engineering

Babar is Vice President of Engineering at Visual Lease where he is responsible for engineering and technology operations for all technology products. He has extensive knowledge in developing software products that provide significant value to businesses. His area of expertise includes IT security, iterative/agile software development and business process optimization.

Previously Babar held senior management positions at Allweb Technologies, Comodo Group, MotiRoli, UL (Underwriters Laboratories), Intergis (acquired by Telogis, a Verizon Company), Macro 4, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Thor Technologies (acquired by Oracle), and CA Technologies.

Babar has a Master and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology. He also has a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and Physics from Baluchistan University.

Kathryn Eskandarian, CPA
Vice President, Finance and Accounting

As Director of Finance at Visual Lease & KBA Lease Services, Kathryn Eskandarian is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, directing corporate financial planning, and managing internal and external audit and tax functions.

Prior to her roles at Visual Lease and KBA, Katie was Controller at iCIMS, and Controller at Geller & Company, LLC. Kathryn has also held roles in audit and tax throughout the early part of her career.

Katie has a B.S. in Accounting from William Paterson University.

Scott Clatur
Vice President, People

As Vice President, People, Scott Clatur is responsible for all aspects of people operations including talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning & development, and compensation & benefits.

With over 20 years of experience, Scott is an accomplished Human Resources Executive who translates organizational vision and mission into specific HR talent strategies that drive sustainable business results. He is a recognized change agent with an exceptional track record for building, scaling, and leading teams and programs that support strategic business goals. Scott has worked for major corporations, some of which include, iCIMS, Henry Ford Health System, Best Buy, Staples and The Mathworks.

Scott has earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Elon University, Elon College, NC.

Alaina Loori
Director of Account Management

As Director of Account Management at Visual Lease, Alaina Loori is responsible for the retention of all Visual Lease clients. Her team of dedicated account managers are focused on engaging with Visual Lease’s clients to ensure they are fully utilizing the software. Alaina has over 10 years of experience in SaaS Account Management and is dedicated to creating a customer experience second to none.

Prior to joining Visual Lease, Alaina was the Director of Account Management at iCIMS. Her responsibilities included retaining and growing iCIMS customers. During her tenure at iCIMS, Alaina continuously developed and scaled Account Management processes to improve the customer experience. Alaina also has her Real Estate license in New Jersey.

Alaina received a B.S. in Communications from New York University.

Jennifer Orlando
Director of Data Services

Jennifer Orlando oversees the operations and planning of all abstraction and data management projects into the Visual Lease platform as a service line under the Customer Service umbrella.  Ms. Orlando specializes in building unique and customizable solutions and manages the execution with her highly experienced abstraction team.

Prior to joining Visual Lease, Jennifer spent 13 years with retail brands Aeropostale, Avenue Stores, and the Hertz Corporation.  Jennifer also logs time with CBRE in the brokerage services and asset management teams.

Jennifer has a B.A. in Business Administration from Berkeley College and holds a New Jersey Real Estate license.

Ellie Galante
Director of Consulting Services

As the Director of Consulting Services, Ellie is responsible for managing the development, delivery and support of all consulting services to Visual Lease clients. She maintains smart and efficient processes for all consulting services on an ongoing basis and leads a team of internal Implementation Specialists and other internal and external professionals who provide such services to all Visual Lease clients. She also serves as ‘player-coach,’ providing consulting services to clients as needed.

Ellie’s career spans various roles within Information Technology, Business Development, Transition Management, Account Management and Operations across various industry sectors and levels of service. She leverages her technical expertise, spanning an 18-year IT career, to customize solutions that align with a Client’s business requirements. Her committed focus is on procedure streamlining, timeline management and organization supporting high capacity, simultaneous project management and deliverables, and the subsequent roll out of best practices.

Ellie has earned a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Relations from The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., and various professional certifications.

Paula Alves
Director of Marketing

As Director of Marketing, Paula’s  primary responsibilities will include generating and driving demand for the Visual Lease portfolio offering. This will include oversight and/or support of all “channels”.

Paula has worked as a Product Marketing Manager; Director, Product Management; Channel Manager; Sr. Business Development Manager; Senior Product Marketing Manager; and Associate Marketing Director. She is a dynamic, results-driven professional with an accomplished career leading the design and launch of innovative products and programs into the national and international marketplace. She is obsessed with customers and ensuring their success. She has worked for major corporations, some of which include, Sunbird Software, Inc.; Ricoh Americas; Cooper Industries; Premiere Global Services; Brother International Corporation; and Lucent Technologies, Inc.

Paula has earned her Bachelors in Computer Science with a Minor in Economics from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ; and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ.

Mike Bell
Senior Advisor

Mike has held several executive corporate real estate positions, including having been a Vice President at the Gartner Inc. (responsible for IWMS research), Managing Director of Corporate Real Estate for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Director of Corporate Real Estate for Dun & Bradstreet, Vice President at LaSalle Partners (predecessor to Jones Lang LaSalle) and President of The Harbinger Group at Xerox. In these roles he defined, built and implemented real estate technologies that Fortune 500 firms use to account for their capital project, facilities and real estate related expenses.

Mike has a B.A. from Brown University, an M.A.T. from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester.
