Marc E. Betesh, Esq., MCR.h
President

Founder and President of Visual Lease since its inception in 1995, Marc Betesh is one of the country’s leading experts on lease construction, lease expenses and effective lease negotiation strategies.

In addition to running Visual Lease, Marc also the President of KBA Lease Services, the signature firm in lease auditing. Prior to establishing Visual Lease and KBA Lease Services, Marc practiced law in New York City where he negotiated commercial leases. He received his BA from Temple University and his JD from Georgetown University and is a member of the New York and New Jersey bars.

Marc has consistently been ranked among the “top-rated faculty” at CoreNet Global Learning and is a frequent lecturer on lease topics at New York University’s Real Estate Institute, AECRE (Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate), American Bar Association, Association of the Bar of the City of New York, ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers), and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Derek Anderson, MCR
Managing Director

As Managing Director of VisualLease, Derek Anderson is responsible for leading all operational aspects of the company’s initiatives. Mr. Anderson brings more than 20 years of experience leading corporate real estate technology companies through various growth initiatives. This experience has included being the Co-Founder of VirtualPremise (acquired by CoStar Group), CEO of WorkplaceIQ (acquired by Siterra) and serving as the VP of Marketing and Product Management at Redwood Systems (acquired by CommScope).

Mr. Anderson has a B.A. in Real Estate from Georgia State University, a M.S. in Strategic Management from Indiana University and a M.S. in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University. He has also achieved the MCR designation from Corenet Global.

 


Phillip Peters
Vice President, Information Technology

Phil Peters is the lead developer of Visual Lease, and has primary responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the product. He has over 18 years of IT experience, mostly focused on web-based software solutions, with a strong cross-section of industries and company sizes. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University School of Engineering.

Phil’s experience includes large multi-national Fortune 500 companies such as Metropolitan Life and JPMorganChase, consulting firms such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Data Systems Analysts, a US Army defense contractor, and smaller companies such as the USGA and Visual Lease.


Stephen Dovala, SLCR
Vice President, Business Development

Stephen Dovala is responsible for Visual Lease’s sales and marketing efforts and for the company’s strategic alliances across the real estate industry. He started his corporate real estate career in 1991 as the in-house head of real estate for a Cincinnati-based regional bank. 6 years later Mr. Dovala moved to the service provider side of the industry, focusing on the implementation of technology solutions for lease administration, transaction management and facilities management.

Mr. Dovala is considered to be an accomplished leader with a focus on new account transitions. He is an acknowledged problem solver who has consistently brought efficiencies in service delivery and streamlined operations.

Prior to joining Visual Lease, Mr. Dovala worked at both Colliers International and Jones Lang LaSalle where he served as Account Manager for several national and international clients in the consumer goods, banking and insurance sectors. Most recently he was the Transition Manager in the Middle East and North Africa during the integrated facilities management transformation of one of the world’s leading international banking institutions. He has attained his CoreNet SLCR designation, participated in several Six Sigma Seminars, and is a licensed real estate sales professional in the State of Ohio. He has his Masters of Architecture from Miami University and also studied at the Architectural Association in London.


Alexandra Betesh
Director, Client Services

As Director of Client Services at Visual Lease, Alexandra Betesh is responsible for the Visual Lease client experience, including managing training, support and feedback as well as lease abstracting and other support services. Ms. Betesh also plays a leadership role in both Visual Lease’s and KBA’s operations, with a special focus on process management and improvement.
Prior to her roles at Visual Lease and KBA, Ms. Betesh was an analyst with Bloomberg LP specializing in financial derivatives and mortgages.

Ms. Betesh has a B.A. in Finance and Management with a minor in Producing from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Michael Bell

Mike has held several executive corporate real estate positions, including having been a Vice President at the Gartner Inc. (responsible for IWMS research), Managing Director of Corporate Real Estate for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Director of Corporate Real Estate for Dun & Bradstreet, Vice President at LaSalle Partners (predecessor to Jones Lang LaSalle) and President of The Harbinger Group at Xerox.  In these roles he defined, built and implemented real estate technologies that Fortune 500 firms use to account for their capital project, facilities and real estate related expenses.

Mike has a B.A. from Brown University, an M.A.T. from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester.


Jeffery Toscello

Jeffrey A. Tosello, Managing Partner and Founder of PSG, focuses his efforts on building a world-class team striving to establish best practices in the emerging field of real estate administration and accounting.
Mr. Tosello began his real estate career in 1989 as an accountant for a small Chicago-based property management firm. Over the next 10 years, Mr. Tosello managed several mixed-use office buildings, held the position of assistant manager of One IBM Plaza and secured national relationships with IBM, Sprint, Sears, Advocate Healthcare, Prudential, and Exxon, which he turned into a multi-million dollar service enterprise. Mr. Tosello worked his way through various real estate service positions which eventually led him to form Portfolio Solutions Group, LLC.

Mr. Tosello launched Portfolio Solutions Group upon recognizing an increasing demand for administrative and technological strategy in the real estate industry. Mr. Tosello created a unique corporate structure that aligned motivation with service excellence and greater transparency. These qualities continue with PSG, where Mr. Tosello further hones the company’s work processes and data management strategies.

Mr. Tosello holds a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University, with a concentration in Information Systems. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Economics from Elmhurst College. Mr. Tosello also has a RPA designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute, and he holds a real estate broker’s license in the State of Illinois. In addition, he sits on the Board of Trustees for the James Jordan Boys and Girls Clubs.
